A House isn’t a Home

A house is a house until it is sold
To a family that needs a start
A home is a warehouse for brotherly love
A place you can hang your heart

Here we sell houses of wood, brick, and stone
Whatever you want we’ve got
But it takes hard work if you want a home
A home can never be bought

A happy home is a house of love
Where families can live and grow
To worship their God who dwells above
Or tend to their duties below

If you need a place to harbor your home
Then just look at where you’ve been
We’ll sell you a house to keep out the rain
But a home must come from within
